Aimed at contact centres and busy office environments, the Jabra BIZ 2400 USB headset delivers superior call clarity with full wideband and a true hi-fi quality stereo sound.
Fitted with a USB plug, the Jabra BIZ 2400 USB headset plugs directly into the USB port of a PC, PC softphone or laptop. The headset comes complete with Jabra’s PC suite software which is easy to install and supports the headsets many features and functions. The PC suite software provides drivers for several types of popular softphones such as Cisco IP Communicator and Skype to name a few. If you are using MOC and the MOC optimised BIZ 2400 USB headset then support for this is provided with the MOC headset variant.
When you are using a supported softphone you have the benefit of controlling the softphone using the buttons on the USB toggle. This USB toggle wheel offers you the ability to answer/end calls and control the volume of the call at the touch of a button. The in line toggle has two buttons that can be programmed from your computer to perform a variety of specific functions, you simply choose the desired function, such as "mute" or "answer mobile phone call".
Made mostly from durable surgical steel with a re-enforced Kevlar cable, the Jabra BIZ 2400 USB headset is built to last and will withstand constant use in demanding environments. Jabra even claim the boom microphone is "break-proof".
With a cutting edge black and steel design, the Jabra BIZ 2400 USB headset covers both ears and is worn over the head in the style of a headband. The steel headband is fully adjustable to fit a variety of head sizes. By having two earpieces, the headset is ideal for use in noisy environments as you receive sound through both ear pieces and surrounding offices noises are blocked out allowing you to fully concentrate on the call. The thick and padded supersoft ear cushions that are supplied with the headset not only ensure a snug and comfortable fit but also help to direct and channel the sound to the ears better, again helping to improve the sound quality. The Jabra BIZ 2400 USB headset also boasts Neodymium speakers for clearer and more precise speech.
A number of technologies are featured on the Jabra BIZ 2400 USB to ensure the wearer is protected in accordance with the EU noise at work legislation. Peakstop technology stops any sudden loud noises that can be sometimes transmitted down the phone line and IntelliTone technology limits and reduces your exposure to noise on incoming calls. These loud noises can otherwise be potentially harmful to your hearing.
The microphone on the Jabra BIZ 2400 USB headset features noise cancelling technology. This filters away unwanted background noise so the sound the caller hears is free from distracting noises.
